With proper care, your special mylerae pieces can last for years to come! There are a few simple things to remember when caring for your jewellery. 

1. Store your piece in the box we have provided or an airtight bag to help prevent oxidation or tarnishing.

2. We recommend polishing your piece prior to storing it. To polish your piece, avoid using a shirt, towel or even a paper towel or tissue to polish jewelry. This can be abrasive and scratch your jewellery. We recommend using the cleaning cloth we provide (found under the black foam in your box) to remove any oxidation or tarnish marks. 

3. For regular cleaning, use warm water and a mild soap, gently rub the soap into piece with your fingers, rinse, and pat dry with a soft cloth. Do not rub. 

4. It is best practice to remove your jewellery before doing activities that tend to come in contact with chemicals; Activities such as swimming, showering, gardening, exercising, and house hold chores. Avoid prolonged exposure to chlorine, pools, hot tubs or spas. We also suggest you remove your jewellery when applying all types of beauty products, including lotions, perfumes, makeup, hairspray, etc.

5. Sterling Silver: Tarnishing naturally occurs to even the most expensive sterling silver. You can use a silver cleaner/polish cream to help with any tarnishing that may occur on your sterling silver pieces. We recommend when not wearing your jewellery, store it in the box we have provided or an airtight bag. Clean it often with your cloth.
